What people are saying about Nature Vision products . . .

Professional anglers tell us . . .

“After another hardcore season on the ice and a lot of big “test” fish, we’ve gone back and once again made the Genz Stix just a little bit better. These are improvements that will translate into more fish on the ice for you.  Genz Stix continue to offer the choicest combination of rod quality and affordability today.  I hope you’ll enjoy fishing with these ice combos as much as I have.”

-Dave Genz, Ice Fishing Legend

"The MAV on my boat gives me clues as to structural layouts, fish position and fish species. It’s an invaluable piece of equipment for tournament pre-fishing.”

- Mark Martin, Professional Walleye Angler

"MAV solves mysteries and helps us better understand the underwater environment. In our travels across North America, MAV remains one of our most important fishing tools.”

- Doug Stange, In-Fisherman magazine, Editor-In-Chief

The Showdown is the best ice fishing sonar I have ever used.  The target separation is exceptional, and the unique gray-scale even allows me to spot fish that are belly to the bottom.  The sensitivity and noise reduction settings allow me to customize my Showdown for each fishing situation and to fish nterference-free near other units.  I love the slim profile, padded carrying case, and the Showdown's low power consumption as well!"
-Roger Cormier, TV Co-Host, MidWest Outdoors

“The Genz Stix Predator series rods have become my new favorites for targeting big fish through the ice.  If I’m chasing big lake trout in Ontario, huge pike in Manitoba, or trophy Great Lakes walleyes, these rods are the ones I’m using. They’re not only aesthetically beautiful ice rods, but they’re a real pleasure to fish with.”

-Jeff Simpson, Editor and Photographer, In-Fisherman magazine

“The Pak Shack is a phenomenally practical shelter and a brilliant idea.  Ice anglers are going to love this new design.  It’s a cozy yet roomy portable ice fishing shelter . . . that is the cat’s meow for anglers who ice fish on lakes accessible only by foot, or when the ice is thin.”

-Gord Pyzer, Fishing Editor, Outdoor Canada magazine

"After a lot of years of operatiing both a busy charter fishing service and a tournament schedule, we realized that Vector is the only downrigger built tough enough to be used the way we use them."

- Dave Engel, Co-Captain, Best Chance Too, 35 Time Salmon Tournament Champions

Hello, Great looking website. I have been using Ve
ctors (downriggers) for 5 or 6 years now and I am very happy with their performance. Last summer we fished many times at 200 ft. with 12 lb weights. Is there a better test for a downrigger?  I am glad to see that the product is in the hands of a company that will do something with it.  I am located in a very high traffic area, (Canal Park) in Duluth.  Last year I did 120 trips on the big lake. I think I work downriggers as hard or harder than anyone in the Great Lakes. Russ from marine General has always given great service.

Our customers tell us . . .

Nina and Karen represented Nature Vision perfectly. You started out by offering me a simply solution, avoiding me from having to send it in. Your response (e-mails & phone calls) were always timely.  Your back up support while you were out was very professionally handled.  You took pity on me for my heavy shipping costs.  And …you got the camera fixed and turned around a week sooner than I thought you would. It’s how things are handled after the fact that really determines how a customer feels about that company. You left me confident that you work for a really good company, and I will recommend your products to my friends.
Thank you!
Gary Jerabek, Bolingbrook, IL

Caught two muskies in one day and should have had a third on the Rumbler--if you want some pictures will send--great lure--great action.

-Charles Gulsvig, Moorhead, MN

Enclosed photo shows a 42" muskie caught on Lake Lobster, Alexandria, MN caught on August 18th, 2007 using a Rumbler Lure.  Raised 4 other fish in 4 hours on the same lure. So far to date, I have caught 4 muskies and raised 10 all on this lure. Not much paint left. Still catching fish.

- Rick Caldwell

I would like to thank you for all your help in getting me the missing batteries for my 3 Game VU 35's in January of this year. People like yourself make your company what it is and make people like me loyal customers. Please pass this on to your superiors as they need to recognize valuable people like yourself.

- Lindsay Harper, A thankful customer

The new BUZZ STIX II you sent to me, was delivered to me on Saturday. Id just want to say you’re the greatest! I can not thank you enough, for your help and patience. You are definitely an asset to your company!

Thank you again!

GOD BLESS!

- Philip Wadsworth

I just want to say that {Nature Vision} Aqua-Vu has exceptional customer service and stand by their product. I mailed my Scout last Thursday and received it today. All was covered, no questions asked. I am very impressed and will so business with them again.
- Bob, St. Cloud, MN

I would like to tell everyone there that I'm very satisfied with your customer service.  I had a power wire short out for no found reason and got a new one, which fixed the situation.  I’m sure that if I have any more problems they will be handled and taken care of.  I suggest that you post this on a bulletin board there.

Thanks again,

- Joe Riley

Nina, the knob arrived at my house today. In this day and age of customer no-service, I cannot believe the customer service you supplied to me. Most companies would have either blown me off or seen it is an opportunity to make another buck. You on the other hand responded instantly and offered a replacement without cost to me. And when I asked if you got my address email, you responded again without hesitation with another gracious follow up solution. It is the little things that make a company great. If you are an example of what your company is all about, then you can be sure that you will have me as a customer for life. Also, word of mouth is your best advertiser and I will be sharing this story with others.

Sincere Thanks,

- Mark Kleist

I just wanted to let you know how happy I was with your customer service person named Nina. I recently purchased a VPG and the charger was not working correctly. I called your customer service number at 4:30 pm on a Friday. I didn’t even expect to talk to a human.  She was polite, informative and asked some very good questions to determine the nature of my problem. She got the charger in the mail immediately and I received it the next afternoon! It seems that in today's world, companies will "give away the farm" to try to get new business. At the same time, they do very little to keep current customers. Nina made sure I was not going to return your product to the store and get my money back. Nina did a great job and deserves to be commended. Take her out to lunch & give her a day off with pay or a raise. People like her will ensure your company success in the future.

- Bryan Rubin

I just bought a Scout 2 model camera, and would have to say that it really makes a big difference while I am out icefishing.  It really helps me to see if fish are just “sniffing around,” or if they’re actually taking the hook in (really helps me know when exactly to set the hook.)  I can say that I have landed a lot more fish because of this.  Thanks a lot for putting this quality product out there.  I think I’ve changed a few minds already about whether or not this is something a fisherman can truly use to his/her advantage.  Thanks a lot!!!

- Charles Johnson, Minnesota

Nina asked me to call when you complete your new Quad 360. The Bank is purchasing it for Cameron Fire and Police for their use. Our Fire Chief purchased one of your single units which were tested in a murky pond here and the visibility was far better than a divers view. Your unit will become part of Cameron, Missouri Emergency Services. Thank you.

- Roger Durant

Sent an email a few days ago about the Quad 360. I am very pleased with its performance. It is better than I expected. For any camera to be able to take pictures in absolute darkness is fantastic. As far as I know I am the first person in recent history to be able to view the inside of this flooded cave.  I have been searching for a cache possibly left by British prisoners of war during the American Revolution. The pictures I have taken with the Quad 360 can be used to acquire a recognizance permit issued by the Massachusetts Board of Underwater Archeology. So I thank you Aqua-Vu for building an inexpensive camera.

- Matt McGurn

Finally, an easy way to capture video from my Aqua-Vu. This product (DVR) is easy to use, unobtrusive, and a new "must have" in my ice fishing arsenal! The ability to add an SD card for extra storage for all day on the ice, as well as its ability to take stills, makes this unit well worth the money in my book. Well done!

- “Goody,” Iowa

Nothing like recording yourself catching a fish from underwater and emailing the clip to your friends and family that same day to rub it in.  What else can ya say!

- “Ifishmorethanyou,” Wisconsin

Received a Scout 2 as a Christmas gift. It delivers as promised. I fish a lot of stained water ponds in my area, and visibility was easily 12 + feet.  Interestingly, many times when I've dropped it in to get a view, the fish will come right up to the camera to check it out. Must look like one of their cousins :)Was this review helpful to you?  Yes No (Report Inappropriate Review)

- Smitty B, Massachusetts

The first time I used the Aqua Vu..... The instant it got to the bottom ....The fish were there ....... Walleye 3----- 20 +inch; some rock bass and large sun fish.......all in a 25 yard radius.  This viewer is the best thing I have purchased in a long time....Its great ...and worth every penny I spent on it...The water was not that clear, but I could still see everything down there.......also snags I was getting.... Stumps and rocks.....

- “Happy Looker,” Pennsylvania

If you like looking crappie right in the eye you will love the Aqua Scout. Most reviews about ice fishing with the Aqua Scout. But its good for locating crappie. Are they in the channel, on the beds, off the beds. With all the weather changes this spring their position changes daily.

Also fly fish and now I can check those deep pools for trout placement and watch to see how they’re feeding, and on what.  Very pleased with daytime performance. Not as good at night unless the water is very calm as light reflects of the sediment and causes an unclear image.

Works great with a downrigger for depth control. Attach it to the ball and lower it to a precise depth and run up creek channels looking for fish. Now I can verify the images on my locator and can tell what is fish or schools of shad and what is a false echo.

This is probably one of the best scouting tools I have ever bought. It is difficult to keep in one place long enough to watch fish take your lure but for finding hidden structure, rock piles, and weed beds this is a must have. The clarity on it is so good that I had a tip-up 20 feet away and I could see the minnow and watch a nice bass hit it. It really helps to find honey holes on heavily fished waters. AWESOME!

- “Fogalo,” Wisconsin

I had originally purchased the original Scout and was not too satisfied. I didn’t like the bulkiness of the product and I didn’t find that they IR lights worked as well as I would have thought. So I decided to give the Scout II a try and I am very pleased. I like the fact that it folds up in to an easy to carry unit and I also enjoy some of user-friendly options the Scout II has to offer. The fact that the II has the SR lighting was a big selling point, I believe they are a better quality light and they allow the user to use the product at night. I also appreciate the 50 ft. cord, it saves on weight and size and there are not too many conditions when viewing at 100 ft is going to be possible. The scout II also has an easy to use battery port and user friendly monitor controls. I am really satisfied with the II and I highly recommend it for the price. I have used other Aqua-Vu products such as the Z series and I found the II to be a better overall product.

I purchased the Scout 2 at Cabela’s in Hamburg in the beginning of Dec. 06...I took it out on my boat for a trial run and wow!!!..It was awesome...it worked better then I could have ever imagined.  I even impressed my 68 year old fishing partner that was skeptical about its performance because the body of water we fish if always muddy and murky.  We managed to actually find a fishing rod laying in 15ft. of water-- couldn't retrieve it, but could see it plain as day.

- Ron, Pennsylvania

The VPG is a very simple machine to use. I have had success from the first day I dropped the transducer in the ice.

- JD, Illinois

Well, I'm convinced! My VPG is great. Gives a clear vision of the bottom, my jig, and fish. First day out, four of us. We caught 150 plus perch, couple trout and several bass. I out fished my partners 4 to 1. The reason being, I was the only one with a graph. I could see the fish and go to ‘em. Also, could watch them come to me. Second day 100 plus perch. You won't catch me on the ice without my VPG. No more blind fishing!!

- “Muleybuck,” Wyoming

We had excellent results utilizing this Aqua-Vu DT camera model for ice fishing in the waters of Put-In-Bay of Lake Erie and other inland lakes in Michigan this past winter. We could easily view both of our jigs in 30 ft. of water in Lake Erie. Within 10 minutes of setting up the camera we watched a 6lb. walleye inhale our jig. The compass readout on the screen easily enables you to rotate the camera cable to where your baits are and the depth readout allows you to lower the camera precisely to obtain a clear view of the baits and the surrounding area.  I would also highly recommend the manual tripod with the rubber cable gripper that Aqua-Vu offers to secure the camera cable in fixed position.  We watch numerous walleyes move in and attack our jigs. It was a great tool to learn what jigging techniques worked and how the walleyes reacted to the baits. If you are looking for an underwater camera system with all the most useful options for precise underwater viewing, this is the one.
